Breaking: Obama is the Brett Favre of Peace
Nobel Committee chairman Thorbjoern Jagland announced this morning that President Barack Obama would receive the 2009 Nobel Peace Prize. According to Jagland:
“Just look at him, he’s just like a kid out there, mediating and resolving conflicts just like he did on the schoolyard back in the day. This is a guy who just wants to go out there and make peace happen. You gotta love that gritty pacifist spirit.”
The president was unavailable for comment, having just boarded a flight to Dallas, TX to “personally kick [former President George W.] Bush square in the junk”, a decision that drew further kudos from the international community.
