Man admits driving drunk in his custom Lay-Z-Boy
So many amazing things about this article:
- A souped-up Lay-Z-Boy that can cruise at 15-20mph, decked out with stereo, cup holders, headlights (safety first!) and a power antenna.
- A bar in downtown Proctor, MN called the Keyboard Lounge - a name that I imagine only understates the classiness and fine taste of the patrons within.
- The chair’s owner blowing a .29 BAC after having ”eight or nine” beers at the Keyboard Lounge and proceeding to plow into a “more traditional car” in the parking lot.
- Authorities impounding the chair (did they use a tow truck?) and holding it for what is now the most hotly anticipated auction this state has seen since Denny Hecker unloaded his phoney Rolexes.
Who’s up for a road trip? I hear the North Shore is lovely this time of year; I’ll even let you drive the chair back to MSP.
